Eco-Toys

We have two sources for our eco-friendly, fair trade wooden toys. The jigsaw puzzle toys come from Sri Lanka and the Maya Organic range comes from India.

We offer special prices for bulk orders and educational facilities.

Moogli brand of lacware toys are made by Maya Organic fair trade co-operatives in Channapatna, southern India. Made by traditional handcrafted methods using modern designs. All the toys are boxed in natural coloured cardboard giving a clear view of the toys.

NATURAL AND SAFE - no plastic, no toxins, no paint, no chemicals - the halewood and rubber wood are coated with shellac and coloured with vegetable dyes like tumeric. All have been tested to EU/CE standards by UK laboratories and where they are not suitable for under 36 months due to small parts, this is clearly marked.

COLOURS - rich, earthy and very different to the predominantly primary colours of other wooden toys.

EDUCATIONAL AND WITH NAMES - your children will love the toy names - Bibbo, Tuttu Turtle, Go-Go, Ma-Me-Pa, Pom Pom Rail.

CHILDREN - no children are involved in producing any of the products - in fact, our partners in India ensure that not only do the children in these villages not work, but that they are in full-time education

TAKING CARE OF LACWARE TOYS

Our fair trade jigsaw toys are from Sri Lanka. Made from rubber wood that is quick growing which makes these toys sustainable. These toys are great for hand to eye co-ordination and for learning colours, numbers and a to z.
