Covid-19 Update
BIEMH 2024 proceeds as planned, with no further delays. The live edition of the prominent trade fair for machine tools is expected. The official dates for the upcoming event are set for June 3rd to June 7th in Bilbao, Spain. Organisers have shared that there is immense excitement amidst the industry, which is looking forward to the face-to-face event. The Bilbao Exhibition Centre will follow strict COVID-19 protective measures. Visitors are required to wear masks at all times, use cashless services, and maintain a social distance. Attendees should note that if they are arriving from a country that is not in the EU or Schengen, they will have to present 3G entry documents.

BIEMH 2022 took place as a live event that marked the return of the trade fair and industry. It was held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) between 13.06.2022 and 17.06.2022. The venue featured strict Covid-19 safety measures, such as social distancing and mandatory face masks. The event received 35,000 visitors from 52 countries who examined the over 3,400 presented wares of the more than 1,400 exhibitors from 28 nations. Additionally, the event featured 300 invited leading buyers.

Now, about the Hotel: This hotel was in a great location, very close to the main train station but it's so far to fairgound (1h in train and walk +/-).
Our rooms was in 4th floor and the elevator only go to 3rd floor. For to go at 4th floor, only have a stairs. It's only a small points that we don't like.

Many thanks to Mr Tom Parker from GoFair throughout the whole process of searching for a suitable hotel. The hotel is located perfectly good- just 10 minutes walking up to the Messe, or several minutes by train. The interior layouts are also very good. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, shower room etc...A good room service. The only minus there is extremely poor breakfast that really should be improved.

Am glad to note that they were all pleased with both hotels. They said the hotels were clean and service was good. They particularly liked the location and the restaurant of Hotel XII Apostel Albergo. The only downside they mentioned to me is the weak wi-fi connection. But overall they were much satisfied.

We had a good stay. The hotel is clean and people are friendly and helpful but it is really very old fashioned! The furniture and decoration 1970, could become very fancy again in a few years maybe? I recommend to take your own body wash etc with you while theirs isn't good quality. Breakfast is very correct Have a nice day and I will certainly contact you again for a next fair.
