About EMO Milano

EMO Milano enables participants to complete business goals such as networking. They also include conducting on-site business, expanding their knowledge and over-viewing markets. EMO Milano features a diverse support programme that aids in completing such goals. It comprises four central pillars - EMO Communication, EMO Conference, EMO Connect, and EMO Digital. Each is dedicated to a specific aspect.

EMO Communication focuses on the networking aspect of the event. This includes expanding the business networks of its participants via events. An example sub-event that concentrates on this aspect is the Hosted Buyer Programme. Another example is also the Start-up Area. It is where attendees can network with and examine the wares of start-up companies.

EMO Conference focuses on providing extensive specialist knowledge. It features a schedule comprising various conferences, panel discussions, and start-up-oriented sub-events. These include the Speaker's Corner, which provides information about diverse topics such as 5G in manufacturing. The Forum New Technologies – Future Opportunities is another such instance. It enables visitors to lead about platform economy and other innovations.

EMO Connect is similar to EMO Communication and EMO Conference. It presents information about the latest challenges, trends, and novel solutions while promoting networking. Yet, its schedule focuses on a broader range of attendees. These include students and young people. Within its support sub-programme are micro-events, such as guided tours that allow visitors to learn about the various exhibitors. Another sub-event featured within EMO Connect is the Special Youth Show. It permits aspiring students to learn about the latest training projects and initiatives. Similar in intent is the UCIMU Academy. It comprises guided tours for high-school students. These allow the participants to be motivated toward a profession within the sector.

EMO Digital places focus on the importance of digitalisation and manufacturing. It is a novel area that displays via demonstrations the potential of digital technologies. These include live presentations of digital factories conducted by pre-eminent companies. Examples include software, ITC, sensor and other connectivity technology manufacturers and providers. The presented wares include AI, digital twin, and remote help solutions.

One or more sub-events are integrated into two or more support pillars. Examples include the comprehensive exhibition, which promotes networking, gaining recognition and conducting on-site business. It is the central presentation stage for innovations, ranging from novel machine tools to innovative robotics. Frequently, the exhibition incorporates specialised zones. These focus on two or more product groups as part of a specific aspect. One example is EMO Additive Manufacturing, a sub-area that presents additive technologies and solutions. Another instance of a specialised sub-area is the Future of Business. It features industry experts providing detailed information on new market opportunities. Furthermore, the area enables visitors to learn novel work concepts.
