The hotel was perfect with reasonable access to Messe Frankfurt. The rooms are new and clean and very ergonomic. The best breakfast that I could ever had.

Preface
Founded in 1983, IPM Essen (Essen IPM) is the leading event for the horticulture industry. The event serves as the central source of information about essential sector developments. The fair occurs annually in Messe Essen.
IPM Essen receives attendees such as plant producers, DYI store chain owners, and gardeners. Many authorities, including municipal officials and media representatives, also attend the fair. Florists furthermore visit the fair to find inspiration for new floral compositions. So do many horticultural technical professionals such as application designers, ecological engineers, et cetera.
Essen IPM is an international fair that receives over 50 000 attendees. For instance, one edition had around 1 549 exhibitor firms and 53 000 visitants. Attendees represented around 46 countries. These include The Commonwealth of Australia, Belgium, Japan, the USA, Peru, and Mexico.
About IPM in Essen
IPM in Essen is an international fair that allows attendees to achieve several important goals. Such include networking as well as expanding business and specialist knowledge. It can also help them in learning about new trends and gain recognition.
IPM creates a high-profile business platform for both leading figures and start-ups. The fair includes an extensive exhibition where exhibitors can showcase their innovations. The exposition has four areas of interest. These are Plants, Floristry, Technology, and Garden Features. Many of the products showcased at the fair are sustainable. For example, many exhibitors showcase cold and heat-tolerant plant varieties.
Essen IPM also features a support program consisting of various specialised events. For instance, one of the main events is the Teaching Show. During the Show, German research centre specialists present their latest plant breeding results. Often, the event has several focus themes. For example, one edition focused on the usage of light and growth regulation.
Another notable event in the support program of the fair is the Innovation Showcase. During the Showcase, exhibitor firms display their latest shrub novelties. Such include new varieties meant to resist or tolerate heat or cold. The Showcase can be of particular value to start-ups, as it allows them to gain recognition.
The support program of the trade fair also includes the Flower Battle. This is one of the leading events of the Essen IPM. It features florists and floral designers competing to create the most spontaneous arrangements. They choose, for the task, their building materials from a large stack in front of the audience. Each member of the audience then votes for the arrangements.
IPM Essen’s ausstellerverzeichnis (exhibitor list) includes pre-eminent enterprises such as:
- Logiqs;
- MechaTronix Europe;
- Argus Controls;
- Royal FloralHolland;
- Syngenta Flowers;
- MPrise Agriware;
- Dümmen Orange;
- Luiten Greenhouses.
IPM Essen attracts visitors from several industries. These include horticulture, floriculture, gardening and landscaping.

Everything went well at Hotel Suisse (3). Thank you very much for your help!
Dear Megan,
I hope you had a great weekend.
You were a big help to us for the last 4 years since I first contacted you regarding booking hotels for IDS.
If it weren't for your assistance, we would have had a hard time to make the show successful.
We went back and forth a lot and thank you for your patience and understanding in advance.
I appreciate our collaboration and getting to know you.
Hope you have a great day and start to the week.
With warmest regards,
Phillip

Hello Michelle,
Everything went well, no problem at all.

Hi Christine,
your support and professionality has been very appreciated by us. Always available and ready to answer.
Hotel rooms were not that good at least the standard room was too small and old and very noisy as well; bed not comfortable. I guess that for that price at least superior rooms should be the perfect deal with an hotel like that. Good position close to metro and exhibition very easy to reach. As well not so far from center. Receptionists were not so prepared as they always ask to pay our already included breakfast and their german or english language wasn't always that good.
Hope for a better deal next time!
